Auto insurance in Minnesota has a number of auto insurance requirements. They are:

  • Personal Injury Protection (PIP): $20,000 for medical expenses and $20,000 for non-medical expenses such as lost wages per accident.
  • Liability: $30,000 for injuries to one person and $60,000 for two or more, and $10,000 for physical damage to the other driver's car or property damage.
  • Uninsured and underinsured: $25,000 for injuries to one person and $50,000 for two or more.

Motorcycle Coverage Requirements

Insurance requirements for motorcycles are $30,000 for one person injured and $60,000 for two or more, and $10,000 for physical damage to the other driver's vehicle or property damage.
